Although, since a long time, Klosters has been associated with the film stars and royalty, it essentially remains a typical, friendly Swiss village with picturesque chalets and horse-drawn sleighs. Apart from great skiing, the village offers plenty in the way of entertainment. There is skating, curling and ice-hockey, swimming pools, tennis and squash courts and nearly 32km of prepared walking paths. There is paragliding, excursions by horse-drawn sleighs and a great 3.5km sledge run. There are many restaurants, bars and discos which all ensure a wide and varied choice for evening entertainment.
