Perhaps best known as the home of Bob Marley, Jamaica is the third largest island in the Caribbean, a melting pot of cultures, and continues to entice a wide variety of people to the island. With 3 main tourist areas, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and Negril, and an amazing number of rivers, beaches and waterfalls see and explore, there’s definitely something to suit everyone.
Negril has the most fantastic sunsets and suits the romantics, plus there’s the beautiful 7 mile long stretch of white sandy beach and it’s a great base for those who enjoy watersports and relaxation.
The Montego Bay area is fantastic for party people as the Hip Street offers bars and clubs galore, but there’s also great shopping here and superb coastal areas.
Ocho Rios and surrounding areas on the North Coast of the island provide great bases for exploration if you wish to see the famous Dunns River Falls or go further afield to the Blue Mountains.
Music is the passion of the people and you’re bound to get caught up in the swing of reggae, but whatever you’re looking for Jamaica caters to all - great watersports, beautiful mountains, spectacular sunsets, horse riding with fantastic views and swimming with dolphins are all on offer.
